Dee first joined JML in 1971. The only time our shifts coincided were Saturday mornings. Besides doing the news she hosted a block of Polka music at 10 am to give me a break between the call in 'Instant Ads' show and the public affairs call in show 'Sound Off'. The title 'Polka Princess' was not welcome and clients often asked for her to do their commercials such as the one for the Chalet. The mental block showed up where she mangles Polka twice. First 'polklas' and then 'poko's. Ted Stevens voice the downbeat.
Dee also had some acting 'chops' featured in the second clip where she assumed characters in some of my commercials.
