Judy Rodgers joined the JML staff some time before the format transition and she had a quality to
her voice that was like honey so when I wrote he first Tarzan ad for a carpet store she was a
natural to portrayTarzan's Jane. The sketch was later adapted to a spot for Harry Atkins
Chevrolet. This time Cindy Smith donned the Lepord skin to portray Jane. The script has a lot of
bad jokes and puns and the straight delivery was just the touch to make the spots more repeatable
as the listener would pick up more of the nuances in the humor.
